Caleb was looking at this video when he notices something I had missed.
At about 2 min 13 sec you will notice a faint light around the closed door of the cell in the back ground when looking out past where Caleb stood at the back door.
The lights in the cells had been switched off at the main switch and you can see on the video that we are all in the main building.
But if you continue to watch you will also notice that when we have stop laughing and walked out to the cell area that the light is now off.
Well some thought went into where to start
So first if you are listening to any of our recordings I would suggest using earphones, it will make it easier to hear.
Second a few things that we were told about this building
· People have reaction to the cells
· One employee saw a man standing in the holding cell
· Doors slamming
· And knocking on the door to courtyard
· Things whooshing past
· A different employee saw a man walking past him so he said “hi” and the bloke just vanished
· Courtyard area giving people the creeps
Now I’m going to write about one short story of that night when we are in this haunted building.
The story I have chosen to tell you happen just before we finished, one of our group had just left it was around 3:15 AM.
So before we all left we thought one last EVP session in one of the rooms, you must understand this night had been fun, there had been a lot of activity.
There was Caleb, Jordan, and myself in the room, Jordan was using the video camera when Kym came into the room and Jordan said the camera keeps going out of focus when he looks at Kym (Kym is the only one in our group that doesn’t feel anything he never has, this can be handy). Caleb has a go at them for picking on the one person that had been alone.
When we heard knocking, but as we had seen mice in the next room we at first put it down to them, so we didn’t react until it happen again it sounded like a couple of knocks, we leave that room, but we were not sure of where the knocks were coming from but it did sound like it was from outside the back door that led to the courtyard.
So me being so brave told Caleb to open the door (in fact I dared him) which he did, when you watch the video you will see him stop at the kitchen to look in as he thought he saw something, but then continues to the back door where he invites them in.
Now if you listen you will hear a whispered “thank you” at about 2 minutes and 10 sec, we did not hear this at the time.
At this time I ask if there was someone there and Caleb looks out again and he stands looking towards the cells and then he jumps which of course makes me jump and bump Jordan, who screams like a girl and runs, yes he has been teased about this we can’t help it, it was so funny.
Caleb actually saw someone step out of the cell & then back in, but when we go out to investigate, the doors were shut & closed up, even though we had left them open, the reason we left the doors open to the cells was because we could look through windows into that area just in case something unusual happened.
When Kym walked into the cell, we got Murphy on the Ovilus.
We had trouble getting any video recordings in the courtyard, we set a camera up on a tripod and press record to find it had been turned off, this happened several times it was very frustrating.
Now I like this story it happened on the same night as ghost hunting at its scariest, I had locked David into a cell on his own now this cell is really small about 3 square meters; it’s about the length of an average man and twice the width of an average man, very small.
In this recording you can hear a whispered voice I think its saying “I’m just the guy who sleeps here” it’s defiantly male, can’t tell you if he is being sarcastic or not.
But I would not say that it’s residual, as it seems to be in response to David being in the cell.
You know what’s funny to me is the fact I can picture in my mind this guy sitting in the cell thinking what do you think you’re doing and the look on his face, it’s just the words and the way they are said
We were all getting a little tired and sitting at the top of the room on a step up area, David who can’t sit still was walking around behind us, looking through his camera, as of course we were in the complete dark, David suddenly look through us and said there’s someone down at the chair, so he walked through where were sitting and walk down to see what he had seen through the viewer.
Kym took a photo as David approached the chair area; we made a mistake and did not look at the photo straight away, besides sometimes you can’t see through the view finder as it’s so small. so did not see this picture until a couple of days later when I was flicking through the photo’s, when I saw that in fact David had seen something which the camera had also picked up. Made David feel good.
We had been out ghost hunting one night at one of the cemeteries, when we finished we were packing all the equipment back into the car. Jordan, dad and I were stood at the back of my car. I saw the back passenger side door open, followed by someone climbing in and across the back seat. At the time I believed it was just mum getting in the car, so I did not think anything of it.
Jordan was looking for one of our IR (infrared) video cameras that I had already placed on the floor of the boot. I had forgotten I’d already put them there, so I looked towards the back seat and asked Mum, “have you got the other camera?” when suddenly she answered from behind us reminding me of where I had put it. I suddenly jumped a mile into the air, which I am extremely skilled at and getting better at it, as I thought she was in the car and not standing behind us.
At the time we were still fairly new and had a lot to learn, so unfortunately we did not look into it. But I remember feeling a little uncomfortable the whole drive home because of the experience. However nothing else really came of it. It is still quite unfortunate that we did not look into it, and see if we could communicate with the apparition that had gotten into my car with us.
Point of view from someone who feels nothing but still believes
I am writing this from a different perspective to the other members of this team. This is because I am not very sensitive to the spirit world. That is I do not see, hear or feel the things very often that the other members of the team do.
What I am going to write about today is something I saw happening to Beverley while we were out one night. Some might call it a possession, I’m not sure. Why don’t you read it and let me know your view.
One night we were in a grave yard doing some EVP’s (electronic voice phenomena) and videoing. Things were going along smoothly with some reasonable EVP’s and photos.
Beverley suddenly walked off towards a grave off to the side for no apparent reason. When she reached the grave she started laughing and when asked what was funny she could not tell us anything. She continued laughing and getting worse until she was laughing hysterically. This continued for approximately ten minutes until she eventually calmed down.
As this was one of our earlier experiences we did not think to keep recording as we were more concerned with Beverley and because of this we do not have much on tape.
Once she had calmed down and we talked about it she could not say what she was laughing about just that she could not stop it that she felt light headed and started to laugh.
This is one of the few things that I have heard that I can’t explain.
We were investigating an old goal; there were 5 of us at this investigation. (Caleb, David, Jordan, Beverley and myself).
Caleb, David and Jordan were locked in the cells outside while Beverley and I went inside to do an EVP (electronic voice phenomena) and keep an eye on the cells through a window.
After a few minutes we heard a loud bang that sounded like a door slamming, the door where it sounded like it had come from had been latched shut, and the door has the kind of latch that you need a key to open it from the outside, and I latched it myself so I know it was latched properly and there was no wind that night so there is no way it could have blown open and shut by itself.
This bang was not only heard by all of our investigators but was also picked up on all the EVP recorders that each member had on them.

I was asked to write about one of my adventures, there are many stories I could tell you about but something that happened recently would to me be one of my best moments with the group, it was when we were out at the cemetery which was where I started my training at.
When we were out there I swear I kept seeing someone poking their heads around from behind a bush, but every time I went to investigate who was behind the bush no one was behind it. Then Caleb suggested to pull out the scanner and asked who was hiding from me, so I pulled it out and started to ask “who was hiding from me” but I could only say “who was” before I was interrupted by some spirits. This happened for a couple of minutes before I walked over and asked who was there but by then it went quite on the scanner. So this was one of the best but also funny moments that I’ve had so far with the group.
We were at one building one night when Caleb decided to try some meditation, he was in the main room sitting on a chair at one end, so we would’t disturb him, we went out the back area, we were talking quietly between ourselves when I looked up and said that I thought I heard Caleb voice call out, when I asked Kym & Jordan if they heard it they said no, but I couldn’t stay out the back any longer, so I said time to go back in I couldn’t quite shake that feeling.
We crept in and sat down a little away from Caleb and watched Caleb sitting there not making any sound at all deep into his meditation.
At first Jordan said he thought Caleb’s head area was sort of looking weird almost like it is going in and out, you need to know that we are in a dark room so it’s more like seeing shadows.
So we were keeping a close eye on him when I saw what looked like dark shaped figures fighting as in one pushing the other from Caleb this was happening just behind almost above Caleb’s head, and that’s when I said we need to get him out of this, shine lights anything to get him to come around, it took a bit, (and this is something I would never recommend that you do), but we finely had him with us again.
Caleb said that he couldn’t get himself out of it like normal, and he kept calling and yelling for me to help him (but there was no sound coming out), this is where I turned on Kym & Jordan and said I told you I could hear Caleb yelling.
Caleb was very emotional after this & we had to take some time out side of the building to allow him time, but Caleb seemed different for a little while afterwards, before the old Caleb emerged again.
We then went back into the main room again and did another session using the scanner and I was being a bit challenging towards them, when we checked out the recordings, you will hear a very clear ‘bitch” coming across, I guess they didn’t like me yelling at them.
Now I have tried to get Caleb to write about this but he is having trouble putting what happened into words, so please encourage him to write this one down.

This is the second photo taken of caleb after we came back in. The others are in the order of what was taken feel free to look through them, there is no lights on in this room it is in blackness and the photo’s were taken fairly close together.
When we were at the haunted courthouse and using our equipment, we noticed that we were not getting anything coming through the scanner, so I said to the boy’s maybe they aren’t sure how to use the equipment, where I was told by the boys not to be silly of course they can.
So what fun I had when I was going through the recordings and heard this.
Well, see mother does know best and yes I enjoyed rubbing their nose in it, now would I do that, your right I would.
