My-encounter

I had been with the paranormal group for a couple months when I noticed strange noises around my house. I’d only been on one investigation and two cemetery trips at that point and I wasn’t too sure what I was seeing and hearing. For most of the week while doing my studying, I was home alone and heard various strange things around the house. As I didn’t have much training at all at that stage, I brushed off everything that happened until I told Caleb about it, he then told me that it was possible there was a spirit in my house.
After my first investigation, I woke numerous times during that night to the sound of voices talking. I of course assumed that I was just being paranoid and brushed it off. A month or so later, I was on the phone to Caleb late one night and I heard a ‘shh’ sound. I was convinced that it came through the phone and I asked if he heard it or made the sound and he said no. After we got off the phone, not even 5 minutes later, I heard it again – seemed like someone was telling me to be quiet and go to bed.
After that it was quiet for a while. Then suddenly I was picking up more paranormal things that were happening in my house. One time I could hear the gravel out the front of the house, like someone was walking on it but when I looked there was no one around. I always got the shivers or felt cold very suddenly while sitting at my desk doing my study. One day I was listening to a recording my teacher had made for our assignment when over the top of the quiet sound of her voice, not through my headphones, I heard a male voice say my name. At night time when all my family members were home, I’d see a dark figure by the front door while walking down the hallway. I only saw the figure twice, it was like a quick flash of an image. You could see it but you could slightly feel it as well, even though I am not very sensitive to the paranormal yet. The first time I saw a girl sitting down with her head leaning against her knees, like she was upset. The second time I saw her standing but I saw more of her head then the rest of her body. I only saw the dark figure of her, enough to know that she was in fact a girl.
Caleb and I actually brought the equipment through one day while the house was quiet. When we went over the recordings, we discovered someone named Graham. Although this didn’t fit with what I was seeing so we believed that there were two spirits, a girl and a boy. Although over the past month it has been quiet around my house, I’ve tried to contact them but I haven’t heard much at all. Although one day a couple weeks ago I did hear someone in the kitchen, twice but of course no one was there when I checked.
For me being introduced to the paranormal is quite exciting and I love hearing about all the encounters the group members have had with spirits. I look forward to going on many more investigations and maybe hearing of your experiences with the paranormal.
